The NewsPainting images are an ongoing response to the external world landscape the media posts. I usually react to a given image that reflects the pathos of political conflict and its repetitive cycle. It drives me to capture this into a physical painting that doesn’t dissolve into the next visual soundbite. The essence of the Media’s given images is my point of response – often reacting to the theme of war and the aftermath of violation of humans & the environment. Consciousness can give birth to change. I have always been involved in painting Abstracts, which were my early passion before I delved into expressing myself through my figurative Icon series and my expressive Jazz horse series. I regret that my early works are no longer available to view and I’m resuming this most free form of artistic expression.  Also included in this gallery are various other works not included in any ongoing series.
