The court sketches were challenging and fascinating to render due to deadlines for the news media and drawing the moving action in the courtroom,  telescoping the entire room to show all the players, even when most of the time as defendants were seated facing the judge. I have done hundreds of media sketches over the years and it added greatly to experiencing the extremes of human nature; enriching me as an artist.
